Matching at Our Program

Our program utilizes the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) to match all our spots and adhere to the guidelines set out by the NRMP.

Our program is mission-driven and eager to prepare our graduates for lifelong, fulfilling EM practice. To accomplish that, we are on the search for trainees who are focused on their continual growth as clinicians, leaders, and agents of change. Our program heavily weighs the feedback from interviews to determine how you will contribute to our community and fit with our team. We are constantly on the look out for team players who demonstrate an eagerness to learn, humility in their interactions, and a desire to meaningfully connect with their fellow residents and patients. Each applicant is evaluated on these characteristics after interview day. The entire residency is able to provide feedback on the rank list at our annual retreat. We aim to rank based on the values which we believe make our program special. When ranking we do our very best to give no consideration to the perception of where our program will lie on an applicant’s rank list. We do not take signal tokens into account when developing our match list.
