Dr. Stull joined the UH family in 2017 as one of our assistant program directors after completing his EM residency (and serving as chief resident) at the University of Cincinnati followed by a critical care fellowship at the University of Michigan. Ever since, he he has been monumental in the exponential growth of our residency program. He brings an unmatchable energy to work every day and is easily among the most passionate educators we know. It fact, it was no surprise when he was unanimously named the “Educator of the Year” in 2019. As an EM-Intensivist, Dr. Stull splits his clinical time between the ED and cardiothoracic ICU and also serves as the Director of Resuscitation and Critical Care. With a longstanding passion for MedEd, Dr. Stull previously completed a medical education fellowship in Washington D.C., and this July will be leading our inaugural Medical Education/Academic Leadership Fellowship.

We cannot think of anyone better suited or more deserving of this role, and we’re so excited to see what Dr. Stull will do as leader of our program!
