ERAS Application Reading Begins!

The Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) is open, and today is the day our Recruitment Committee eagerly starts reading through hundreds of applications to find our next EM residency class! To help us get a sense of the person behind the application and how they will fit into our UH EM family, we employ a holistic review process in which each application is reviewed in detail by one or more of our faculty. Each faculty reviewer undergoes extensive training, which includes implicit bias training, to help us continue striving to diversify our program and EM as a whole.
