Residency Coordinator Marie Hoyle is Joining Our Team Full-Time

We are thrilled to welcome Marie Hoyle to our EM team as a full-time Residency, Fellowship, and Medical Student Coordinator!

Marie joined the UH EM family in the summer of 2020 as a part-time residency coordinator, splitting her time between our Department and the Genetics Department. Originally from Fort Bragg, NC, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Technical Management from DeVry University. She then spent the next 15 years at Aultman Hospital in Canton, OH, where she served as a heme/onc nurse as well as MedEd Administrative Assistant and Medical Student Coordinator. Since joining UH, she has been a vital part of our EM Residency Leadership Team and has helped improve, organize, and transform several educational initiatives for both undergraduate and graduate learners. Furthermore, she has been actively involved with our EM DEI team and is now one of our DEI faculty/staff leaders. Starting this month she will be devoting all of her time to the Department of Emergency Medicine, and we couldn’t be more excited! Her energy, drive, and experience will continue to be an asset to our team, and we look forward to seeing what she will do with us full-time!
