Our Inaugural UHCMC ED Diversity & Inclusion Committee meeting is this week!

We’re very excited to announce the formation of our ED Diversity and Inclusion Committee! Led by Dr. Emily Craft (PGY2), this initiative was created to further advance social justice as one of our foundational pillars of emergency medicine. By exploring, acknowledging, confronting, and working together to move beyond our conscious and subconscious biases, we aim to promote a culture of inclusion and equity in our department. We aspire to lift up diverse voice to actively dismantle racism and discrimination of racial, sexual, and gender minorities, particularly as we care for our diverse patient population.
