Dr. Zac Rasmussen Receives the 2021 Golden Apple Teaching Award

Congrats to Dr. Zac Rasmussen on winning this year’s Golden Apple Teaching Award! This award goes to the best resident teacher as determined by the medical students rotating in our ED each year. Even in a class of many strong educators, it’s no surprise that Dr. Rasmussen stands out. He’s approachable, inclusive, and patient with the students and consistently takes the time to teach throughout each shift no matter how busy it is. We’re so proud of Dr. Rasmussen for winning this award and for everything he’s accomplished in residency. We’ll miss him as he heads back home to Iowa but excited to seeing all the great things he will do!
